Microwave Vegetable Steamer: Approximately 2 qt. capacity. The body of the steamer sits in a shallow tray. Place 1/4 cup of water in the tray, add the vegetables in the covered bowl. A hollow tube in the body of the bowl allows the steam to rise into the bowl from the tray. 5 to 8 minutes on high makes excellent veggies.
- All pottery is oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. Never put pottery on a burner on the stove or any extreme heat source such as flame, grill or broiler!
- Clean with dish soap and a soft scrub brush
- Pottery will break if transferred directly from freezer to hot oven so allow for a gradual change in temperature.
- Do not preheat an empty casserole in oven, always have food within it and then heat.
